Aidan is a search marketing and communications specialist with global Internet marketing, management, publishing and client management expertise. With nine years of search marketing experience his primary focus is Search Engine Optimisation, but is experienced in all types of paid search campaigns. He was optimising web sites to maximise search traffic before Google and paid clicks existed.

Currently he is Regional SEO Manager for Yahoo!7, a role that encompasses Australia, New Zealand, India and Singapore as well as advising on international strategy. Prior to joining Yahoo! last year, Aidan was with Decide Interactive in Sydney and helped launch their US operations before the company was acquired by 24/7 Real Media. After a year in Silicon Valley (working with clients such as WalMart, Dell, Sears and Cnet) he returned to Australia.

Before immigrating to Sydney from the UK in 2001, Aidan’s career encompassed online publishing and traditional marketing roles (after some less predictable jobs including London cycle courier, jet-ski instructor and traditional westcountry cider farmer). He holds a Bachelor Honours degree in Psychology from the University of Westminster.

Peter has held a variety of management, product management and sales roles in online and print media over the last 16 years.

Prior to co-founding Life Events Media Peter held numerous positions with Yahoo! Australia & NZ. As Head of Search Peter was responsible for the local development, monetisation, distribution and marketing of Yahoo! Search. As the Australia spokesperson for Yahoo! Search, Peter often spoke at industry events and in the media. As the Head of Local Search & Small Business Services Peter launched Yahoo’s version of Sensis Yellow Pages (Yahoo Local Search) and developed the product and sales strategy for Local Search.

Previous experience at Yahoo covered the launches of a range of commerce based sites including auctions, shopping and ecommerce platforms (Yahoo! Store) in 1999 and 2000 and the Yahoo! classifieds sites (Cars, careers and real estate) in 2001.

Prior to joining Yahoo! Australia & NZ, Peter was working with Text Media as a Magazine publisher responsible for Microsoft Communiqué magazine and the launch of the associated website.
